The full open zipper back option makes it easier to get your pet in and out of their bag. Some pets, like our little Chloe (featured model), have no problem getting in and out of the standard model, but wiggly pups and kittens may be more difficult to get dressed.

The full open zipper back features a heavy-duty sport style zipper sewn into bag portion, allowing you to simply place your pet into the bag instead of having to pick them up and place them in the bag (like you would if you were putting pants on a toddler). We have offered only the velcro option in the past due to concerns with customers having the zipper touch their staples, causing discomfort, but have found that the zipper is actually much easier for some.

The length of the zipper varies depending upon the length of bag your pet needs. For example, if your pet needs a 22" bag (something I calculate based on your pet's overall measurements), they would not get the same size zipper as a dog who only needs an 11" bag. I make sure that every zipper is the right fit for each bag I make.

Simply add this item to your cart with the drag bag of your choice and, if purchasing more than one bag, make a note about which bag you'd like it added to.

Important: this listing is an add-on item only, not for the full drag bag. This item requires the purchase of a drag bag of your choice (breathable, waterproof, or have duty).

Why do I offer this as an add-on option instead of as a standard feature? I love being able to customize each bag for the specific needs of every pet. Plus, I want my bags to be as affordable as possible. The full open back is not necessary, but is a nice option to have.

Why do I put the zipper on the back instead of the sides? Most pets drag on the side of their legs, not just straight behind, and we have found that we prefer to have our pet's zipper in the back for comfort.

Thank you so much for finding me!!
