Drag bags (also known as scoot sacks) are great for those pets in our lives that have mobility issues, specifically IVDD, DM, paralysis, or amputations. Drag bags keep your pet's legs, belly, and feet from getting scratches, marks, and burns while they navigate through the world around them. The pattern for the drag bags in my shop were designed by me, an actual IVDD dog owner, and the design is patent pending.

This listing is for a drag bag made from the jersey knit fabric of your choice (a breathable lightweight fabric that will keep your pet cool), a durable rip stop fabric bottom designed to endure the brunt of the friction between your pet at the floor, and has waterproof fabric sewn inside of the bottom of the bag to keep your floors and bedding dry in case of an accident. The bags are machine washable and fast drying, making it easy to get them cleaned up after an accident or a long day of shenanigans. Closures around the waist and neck are velcro for easy and secure closure. The soft side of the velcro will always face towards the pet for comfort.

**IMPORTANT** Each bag is made specifically for your pet! That's right!! These are made to fit your pet, not the other way around. Please be sure to send me the measurements around your pet's neck, around their chest house behind their front legs, length of back leg(s) from belly to toes, and length of body from the base of their neck to the base of their tail. Without these measurements, I cannot start making the bag! A measurement guide can be found in the listing photos.

Need to add padding or a mesh back to your pet's bag? Check out the other items in the drag bag section of my shop to add those to your order.

Having a differently abled pet means making small adaptations in your life and theirs to make their routine easier. Our little one, Chloe, is a 2x IVDD surgery survivor, so we know how taxing the process can be. From initial diagnosis, making the difficult decision about surgery, and care after surgery or treatment, we know how emotionally exhausting and expensive it can be. That is exactly why I price my bags on the low end of the spectrum. I'm not here to take advantage of someone who may be going through the most difficult and expensive time of their life and the life of their dog.

These bags are designed to take the brunt of the friction between your floor and your pet, so the fabric will pill and deteriorate eventually, depending on frequency of use. It's better that it's the bag and not your fur baby, though!!

Does your pet have specific needs not addressed here? Send me a message! I gladly accept custom orders including requests for additional padding or adaptations based on the pet's specific needs.

Any attempt to replicate or sell my products second hand will result in legal action against you and/or your shop/business.

Thank you so much for looking! Kisses to your fur babies!! :)
